Vintage One-Of-A-Kind Exactly As Pictured

Some chairs were made to live close to the floor, and this little French fireplace chair is one of them - built low and woven from straw, for nursing, mending, and warming small feet by the hearth. Sylvie sets it next to a sofa as a low extra seat, or beside a bed as a small night stand for a book and a glass of water.

Dear collector, as with many antiques, this piece may show signs of its age, including subtle repairs, a bit of movement, cracks, scratches, small holes, and surface variation from years of use. The rush seat has held up beautifully over the years. This piece shows some scratches on the wood surface and does not sit perfectly level.
