Delft Bowl

Found in Montpelier, this adorable bowl was made to echo the blue and white ceramics that filled grown-up cupboards across Europe, with a gently curved form that sits low and easy. It carries a delicate transfer of florals and pastoral motifs, framed by a soft scrolling edge, with subtle variation across the glaze from years of use. Sylvie keeps one by the sink and uses it as a resting place for rings while washing up, or sets it on a nightstand for the small things that tend to wander.
