White Martres Tolosane Pot

France, 20th Century

$395

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Exactly As Pictured

We found this white Martres Tolosane pot in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon - a graceful 18th-century example of southwest France’s ceramic tradition. Made from red clay and finished with a soft white glaze with a light hint of pink, these pieces once stored duck confit. Sylvie keeps hers on the entryway table filled with tulips, or by the stove holding wooden spoons.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
