Saint Uze Tureen - II

France, 20th Century

$155

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Exactly As Pictured

This petite Saint-Uze tureen, found in Avignon, hails from the Drôme region and bears the signature cobalt-blue “Bleus de Saint-Uze” glaze that made the pottery famous across France in the 19th century. Originally used in provincial kitchens for pâtés or sauces, her dainty size and delicate handles now make her perfect for serving olives or holding sea salt by the stove.
