She's an icon. From Carpentras and dating to the 1950s, this oak corner chair follows a traditional Provençal form, designed to tuck neatly into the angle of a room while still offering a full, supportive seat. The back is where it comes alive - hand-carved scrollwork running across both rails, a decorative detail rooted in regional craftsmanship where even everyday furniture carried a bit of flourish. Sylvie loves it placed into a quiet corner or a bedroom or near a fireplace.
