French Farm Stool

France, 20th Century

$295

Vintage One-Of-A-Kind Exactly As Pictured

Found in Avignon and dating to the 1940s, this three-legged stool was made for daily kitchen use, the kind you’d shift around without thinking twice. The seat is softly rounded with a worn-in surface marked by years of cutting and setting things down, while the legs angle out just enough to keep it steady without feeling heavy. The wood has a sun-warmed tone that deepens toward the edges, with natural wear where hands would have reached for it most. Sylvie loves it on the floor beside a stack of books or tucked into a corner that needs something real.
