Midcentury Side table

This early 20th century side table, found in Béziers, features a round top and matching lower shelf supported by classic barley twist legs joined with simple stretchers, all in a rich, dark stained wood. Originally made as a parlor or occasional table, it would have held a lamp, a stack of correspondence, or a porcelain teacup within easy reach. Today, Sylvie loves it beside a sofa or tucked into a corner styled with fresh flowers and your favorite books.
