This large early 20th century kitchen spice shelf, found in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, is crafted from warm stained wood with tall, turned supports and four generous tiers for storage. Designed to hang along a kitchen wall, it would have displayed crockery jars of salt and dried herbs, small tins, and everyday pantry essentials in tidy rows above the worktable.
