Parquet Oak Monastery Table

France, 19th Century

$4,995

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Hard To Find
This may be the most beautiful table we've ever found. Discovered near Toulouse and built with a parquet top that shows off the maker’s precision, this early monastery table carries beautiful arched ends and hefty baluster legs that speak to its original life in a communal refectory. The finish has worn away over decades, leaving a soft pale surface that feels honest and well earned. Today, it anchors a dining room with ease, offering space for long meals, laptops, candlelight, and whatever else life requires.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
