Alps Trunk

France, 19th Century

$995

Antique One-Of-A-Kind Wood
A carved oak trunk with serious presence, originally built in the French Alps and found by Sylvie in Montpellier. At 30 inches tall, it doubles beautifully as a console table, yet the top lifts to reveal a generous interior meant for storing quilts, bulky linens, or anything you want tucked out of sight. The front and side panels are decorated with geometric crosses, each one hand-carved. This one brings all the alpine character without feeling heavy, and it works anywhere you need height, storage, and a bit of quiet strength.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.
