Italian Oak Grocery Stand

Italy, 19th Century

$3,295

Antique Rare Jaw Dropper
The kind of piece that makes you want to rearrange your whole room just to give it a proper moment. This Italian oak grocery stand, found in Avignon but originally from Northern Italy, was once used to display produce and provisions, which explains the angled top shelf and the wonderfully worn surfaces from years of constant handling. Sylvie loves it now for books, artwork, or a rotating display of treasures that deserve to be seen, not stored.

Minor variations from the images may occur unless otherwise noted. All sales are final.

Notes from Sylvie:

There is red staining at the very top, and deep scratches and chipping finish on the shelves, all from years of use. As with many antiques, this piece may show gentle repairs, cracks, scratches, holes, years worth of patina, and stains - just the way we like it.

All items are final sale.
