This oak bench has that straightforward, hardworking look that comes from real use. Found in Villeneuve, the long seat rests on simple triangular legs that give it an easy stability, and there’s a bit of discoloration at one end that adds to the story rather than distracting from it. Set it along a hallway, at the foot of a bed, or pulled up to a long table for extra seating.
