Originally made to shield candlelight from coastal winds in Spanish homes, these glass hurricanes were designed for pure function. The flared shape helped steady the flame, keeping the room gently lit even on breezy nights. Found in Villeneuve, this pair still carries that practical intelligence, only now they feel a little more poetic. Today Sylvie likes them on a dining table or console, where the glass softens the glow of a taper and instantly makes the room feel more intentional.
