A primitive three-legged stool from the early 20th century, found just outside Lyon, hand-carved from solid wood with an oval seat and chunky tapering legs. Its soft edges and worn surface give it a shy sort of personality - quiet, sturdy, and entirely irresistible. Sylvie keeps it beside the tub, though it’s just as happy holding a candle or your morning espresso.
