Found in Lyon, this vintage French glass cloche is all about texture and proportion - a softly ribbed dome finished with a faceted knob, set over a diamond-patterned body that catches the light without feeling busy. Cloche covers like this were used to protect cheeses, pastries, and fruit at the table, keeping things fresh while still on display. Sylvie loves it over a round of cheese, a stack of buttered pastries, or even nothing at all.
