French Oak Bench

Made in France in the 20th century, this oak bench has a long, clean plank seat set on sturdy legs with a low stretcher that keeps the whole thing feeling grounded. We have two available, with slight variations that come from being made and used by hand rather than matched as a pair. The wood has settled into a warm, even tone, with small differences that give each bench its own character. Sylvie loves these pulled up to a dining table, set along a wall, or used anywhere you need seating for extra guests.
