Found in Lille, this petite French Brutalist stool celebrates the beauty of honest construction. Carved from thick planks of solid wood with bold, angular lines and exposed hand-forged iron hardware, it favors strength and utility over ornament. The raw surface and pronounced grain give it a sculptural quality, while its compact proportions make it endlessly versatile. Sylvie loves it pulled up beside a lounge chair with a cup of coffee, or topped with a favorite plant to let its striking silhouette do the talking.
