Sylvie found this 19th-century shell gilt mirror and didn’t hesitate. Layered mirror panels peek through intricate gilt flourishes, with minor cracks in the detailing - just enough to show it’s lived a full life. She’d hang it behind a bed, where it catches the light and steals the scene without even trying.
