Antique Cutting Board - I

The perfect board for bread, cheese, or simply existing. This antique cutting board, discovered near Avignon, was hand-carved from a single piece of wood and has worn beautifully over time. Its handle is complete with a hole for hanging and hints at a long kitchen life where it was likely hung by the hearth after each use. Sylvie loves it leaned against the backsplash or hung from an iron hook - functional, sculptural, and full of French spirit.
